Detoxify your body with Bentonite Clay!

I found Bentonite Clay several years ago. It has the ability to cleanse your body of toxins, detoxify the Liver, Cleanse the colon, helps boost the balance of bacterial balance in the digestive track and helps boost the immune system. I take this Clay every morning (on an empty stomach). I wait 1 to 2 hours before eating to give the Clay time to do its job.

I know that it truly works to boost my energy and I do not have so many digestive issues (and I had many prior to taking this Clay.

A few pre-cautions to take with Bentonite Clay:

Bentonite clay should not be taken if you are pregnant, a senior citizen, or for at least two hours after taking other medications or nutritional supplements. It is possible for you to become constipated if you consume too much bentonite clay or not drink enough water with it in your system.

Cranberry Juice remedy for Bladder infections as well as Gingivitis

I think many of us have heard that drinking Cranberry Juice will treat a bladder infection (drinking the juice on a regular basis will also keep a bladder infection away). What many may not know is that this remarkable juice is also good for keeping away and treating Gingivitis. Just swoosh the Cranberry Juice (100% tart sugar free juice is best, the other is full of sugar and not as beneficial) in your mouth and you will soon notice your symptoms disappear. The Cranberry Juice kills the bacteria in your mouth and gums just as it kills the bacteria during a Bladder Infection.

Remedy for Canker Sores.........

I recently tried a remedy for those nasty as well as painful Canker Sores. I have been suffering from canker sores since I was in middle school. Sometimes I have one and other times I can have as many as four. The remedy I have found is Sauerkraut! Just put a small cluster of it on the sore(s) up to three or four times a day for as many days as it takes (typically two-four).

There is also Sauerkraut juice that is very beneficial for digestion as well as the canker sores. Just swish the juice around in your mouth for the canker sores and of course consume for better digestion and stomach upset.

Lemon has so many uses.....

I was going to offer one Lemon remedy, however Lemons have so many uses, I will list a few. They are as follows:

Did you know consuming Lemons can dissolve Gallstones? Well, they can. It is actually the Lemonene in the lemon which is reponsible for this. Lemonene is also used as an anticancer agent.

Lemon juice can also be used to relieve sunburns, warts and corns (who knew).

Lemon juice can also kill the harmful bacteria in cuts.

If Lemon juice (from a lemon) is immediately applied to poison ivy, it will bring immediate relief.

A lemon's potassium can strengthen as well as energize the heart. If you can stand it eat the inner white layer. It is full of vitamins and nutrients.

I have found so many remedies from this little yellow citrus, hopefully one will be useful to others.

Fight Anemia with this easy Remedy

I recently learned that there is a natural remedy for those with Anemia. Can  you believe the remedy is found in grapes? Well, not just grapes but nut milk as well. The recipe is as follows:

Combine Raw Grape Juice equally with Nut Milk (as much or as little as you want in a serving).

This remedy furnishes the system with new blood of the purest type. It is said to be an excellent remedy for Anemia.

Eucalyptus Oil to keep away bugs from your home and your skin and more

Do you venture outside only to find yourself being carried away by mosquitos? Do you have a bug problem in your home?

I have found that Eucalyptus Oil can keep away many (not all) types of bugs from entering your home. Just put a few drops across your entries into your home. Also, a few drops around the perimeter of your home. You can also saturate a cotton ball and wipe around your windows and doors to help keep them away. If you really have a bug problem, try saturating severeal cotton balls and placing them under sinks, in closets and in other areas where the problem bugs are found.

 In addition, rubbing exposed areas on your body will keep away biting bugs (dilute with water as you do not want to put pure Eucalyptus oil on your skin). 1/4 cup of water to about 3-5 drops of Eucalyptus Oil should keep the bugs away.

Additional uses for Eucalyptus Oil is as follows:
Joint Pain
Nasal Stuffiness (Breathing in, do not drink or consume)
Genital Herpes

*Remember to dilute as the oil can be very strong and may irritate your skin if not diluted.*

Peppermint Oil for Pain Relief and Better Sleep

I found that Peppermint Oil can actually help relieve body aches and pains as well as help you sleep better. You have to love that! All you have to do is the following (at bedtime for those who wish to sleep better):

Drop three or four drops in the middle of your hairline (obviously you will have to wash the reminants out the following day), drop three or four drops on your fingers and massage into your spine (do not wash your fingers) and rub four or five drops onto the bottom of your feet.

This works for me as well as other family members (yes, one being my German grandmother). I hope it will help you too!

Tea Tree Oil for Acne and Pimples

I have found a truly miracle Essential Oil! I tried this concoction on my sixteen year-old and it cleared up a massive outbreak in just two days! The nasty bacteria filled skin fell off to expose pink skin underneath and then beautiful acne free skin following.  The recipe is as follows:

1 Teaspoon of water to 3 or 4 drops of Tea Tree Oil, apply to pimple, blimish or entire face (anywhere on the body really).

We could not believe this truly worked. We had tried so many over the counter treatments as well as some highly televised items. We found absolutely nothing that worked. I did apply this to my daughter three different times throughout the day being that she has very bad breakouts. This may not work for everyone, however it worked well for us.

Grapefruit Juice can help you loose weight. Fact or fiction?

Everyone is looking for that miracle drink or pill that is just going to make all of those unwanted pounds just melt away. I can tell you from my experiences that there is no such pill. There are things that can help aide in weight loss and can actually shrink fat cells!

It all started with my best friend telling me she drank two containers of grapefruit juice daily and she lost like 10 pounds in two months. I thought wow that is great! I started drinking grapefruit juice too. I could not believe that I too began to notice a shrinking waist. Many argue that it does not cause you to loose weight. That you must lower your caloric intake as well. I tried this and found that I still lost weight eating what I wanted, however I did loose more eating low calore foods.

I starting drink one to two cartons of Florida's Natural pink Grapefruit juice and found thai it burned a lot of calories for me, helped me loose, made me crave sweets and sugars less and when I woke up in the morning I was starving! My stomach would growl excessively.

I am in no way trying to push a Grapefruit Juice diet. I am only passing along my "personal" experience with drinking it and loosing weight.

My grandmother gave me a "good for the heart" and circulation tea recipe.

My grandmother is a wonderful woman who firmly believes there is a natural remedy for EVERYTHING. When I would call her (before I started trying natural remedies myself) to tell her the doctor prescribed a certain medication. She would tell me "Oh, Mandy those medications are bad for you, they will eat your liver". I would just laugh and blow off her comments and take the medication. Sometimes, I would have no side affects at all. Other times, I would have awful headaches, stomach issues, become very cranky (my husband would always find something we needed from the grocery store lol) or just would feel overall badly.

After trying some of the natural remedies my grandmother as well as others would give me, I stopped laughing and started researching and finding more natural cures and/or remedies. I was amazed that my grandmother was very right. In my findings thus far, there is indeed a natural remedy for many if not all ailments.

 I am including my first Natural Remedy Recipe below for a heart and circulation tea. It has helped my grandmother as well as myself when we feel anxious, have a heavy chest, arm pain, chest pain or just want to get our circulation moving. I hope this tea will help others as it has my grandmother as well as myself. I will warn you, it tastes absolutely horrible. I just hold my nose and drink an entire eight ounce of orange juice to mask the taste. You will be so glad you chose to be brave and finish the last drop.

"Good for the Heart and Circulation" Tea Recipe

1 Cup of water
1 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Organic if possible)
2 or 3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup (Organic if possible)
Half a lemon (Squeezed)

Boil one cup of water and mix with one teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper. Let steep for aproximately five minutes. Mix in Maple Syrup and Lemon.

That is all! :) Remember another tidbit my grandmother offered me. The things that are most beneficial to your health do not "tickle" your tongue.
